Cons- Inability to focus on one course at a time.

DC3 Online offers three different course lengths or pathways. The traditional 16 week, a half term 8 week, and an accelerated 4 week. These pathways are intended to help you pick which model is best for you and your learning style. They are not intended to be combined within a term.
Mixed Pathway
BAD Example!

This is an example where a student attempts to combine multiple pathways within the same semester. This should be avoided if at all possible. You can see that the first four weeks has a slightly heavier workload than any of the pathways on the left. The second four weeks becomes exponentially more difficult, while the last eight weeks are incredibly light. It is better to have a balanced workload through out the semester by selecting a single pathway.
